When do you opt for custom fabrication?
Standard solutions are cheaper, but they rarely fit exactly. These are the situations where custom fabrication is the better choice.
Your space has non-standard dimensions
Angled walls, low ceilings, load-bearing columns. Standard furniture always leaves dead corners and wasted space.
Your routing does not work
Staff are getting in each other's way. Dirty and clean crockery come too close together. A different worktop layout solves that.
You are integrating existing equipment
A new Rational or Hoshizaki needs a proper surrounding environment. Separate pieces of equipment without good worktops alongside them work inefficiently.
Hygiene requirements demand seamless construction
Care facilities and butchers work with strict HACCP requirements. Standard furniture has joins that make cleaning difficult.
